Steve Mercieca is Regional co-Head of Project & Export Finance for ASEAN and Australia based out of Singapore. 
Steve has focused extensively on the renewable energy, cleantech, and sustainable infrastructure sector over the last 20 years across different geographies and technologies. Within the broader infrastructure investment sector, the Asean & Australia Project & Export Finance business is also a leading advisor and financier for the cleantech, transport, power, digital and social infrastructure markets. Such investment focus aligns with Standard Chartered’s targets on sustainable finance in delivering $75 billion in Sustainable Infrastructure and Cleantech financing by the end of 2024 and $300 billion in green and transition finance by 2030. 
Steve Mercieca holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Southampton, UK.
