In the afternoon of June 6, 2022 at the Headquarters of PC1 Group, PC1’s Chairman Trinh Van Tuan met and worked with senior representatives of ADB Asian Development Bank:

– Mr. Jackie B. Surtani – Director of Infrastructure Finance East Asia, Southeast Asia & Pacific

– Ms. Pinnapa Satipatanapan – Investment Specialist

– Mr. Mark S. Kunzer – Director of Private Sector Operations Department

– Mr. Kiron Nath – Senior Investment Specialist

– Mr. Do Le Ninh – Senior Investment Officer

At the meeting, the chairman of PC1 GROUP thanked and appreciated ADB’s role in the wind power renewable energy project developed and invested by PC1. Especially, ADB was the main arranger and guarantor, funding $173 million to build PC1’s wind power plants in Quang Tri province, including: Lien Lap, Phong Huy and Phong Nguyen. ADB is one of the important partners of PC1, and PC1 wishes to continue to accompany with ADB in many onshore and offshore wind power projects during the coming period 2024 – 2030.

ADB’s representative, Mr. Jackie B. Surtani congratulated the success of wind power projects in Quang Tri province and highly appreciated the capacity of PC1. “ADB stands ready to support PC1 in surveying environmental and social assessments and optimizing the process of preparing documents for the project effectively”.
